The Akshaya Patra Foundation bags Communicator Award!




Akshaya Patra, Indian charitable trust, was awarded the prestigious Communicator Award of Distinction for overall design in print, one of the most competitive award programs for creative excellence. 6000 entries were received by The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), for their 20th annual Communicator Award 2013 and the distinction was added to Akshaya Patra awards, from among them. Participants included B. Braun Medical, Bank of America, DHL, GA Communication Group, United Healthcare and many more.

It was a proud moment for The Akshaya Patra Foundation as the award gave recognition in creative excellence for communication professionals, not in ‘not-for-profit’ but in overall category. Akshaya Patra awards gallery is pleased with this addition. The Communicator Award honours best communication practices in various categories like advertising, video, print, interactive and audio collaterals. With the record number of entries this year, the Indian charitable trust was honoured among winners such as Accenture, Bloomberg, Benz Communications and McMillan in the print category.

The Akshaya Patra Foundation, an Indian charitable trust, is thankful for this recognition by AIVA. AIVA  was formed by distinguished communication professionals from celebrated media, advertising and marketing firms such as Yahoo!, Rabble+Rouser, Tribal DDB, Time Inc., MTV, Monster.com, Lockheed Martin, Keller Crescent, Disney, Condè Nast, AirType Studio, so on and so forth.
