Saavn partners with Indian NGO

In a recent development, India’s No.1 digital music service Saavn has partnered with the Indian NGO. The Akshaya Patra Foundation. With this partnership Saavn launches the initiative #MusicForMeals. The goal of this initiative is to feed mid-day meal to 5,000 children each day for a whole year. Speaking about this partnership with the Indian NGO, Co-Founder and CEO of Saavn said that music has the potential to change the world in every way and through this initiative the team of Saavn and its users can make a lasting and constructive difference by providing wholesome meal to the children every day.

Through this initiative Saavn will donate one Akshaya Patra mid-day meal for one child for every hour of music streamed via their website on apps. The NGO blog Fighting Hunger With #MusicForMeals captures more details on the philanthropic development between Saavn and Akshaya Patra.
