CSR opportunities with Akshaya Patra - Children NGO in India

In our busy work schedule, Corporate Social Responsibility opportunities give us an opportunity to serve the society. CSR opportunities have become a part of almost all industry types. An example of it is, recently Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and State Bank of India (SBI) each donated meal distribution vehicle to Akshaya Patra as a part of their CSR activity. This worthy contribution will be helpful in transporting freshly cooked nutritious meal to the children.

Understanding the importance and potential of CSR initiatives, Akshaya Patra has listed out different opportunities to choose from. To view the list of different opportunities, please follow this link http://www.akshayapatra.org/csr-opportunities

The Foundation was started in the year 2000 in Bangalore, Karnataka with the vision of “No child in India shall be deprived of education because of hunger”. It is implements the mid-day meal programme under the aegis of Central and State Governments. It also employs a Public-Private Partnership model for its operations. Currently, the Foundation is feeding 1.3 million children across 9 States of India covering more than 9000 Government schools, everyday.

As a part of CSR activities you are getting a constructive opportunity to better the lives of numerous needy children across India. Your cooperation has the potential to provide food and education to these children. If you actively engage yourself in CSR opportunities then you will become the catalyst of change for a healthy and educated society.

Join hands with Akshaya Patra and make the most of CSR opportunities
