The Akshaya Patra Foundation’s Annual Report has been the recipient of many accolades in the category of non-profit organisation awards. Along with being the first NGO to be honoured a place in ICAI’s Hall of Fame; it has also received appreciation from International Awards. The Summit Creative Award (SCA) is one such noteworthy award. The Akshaya Patra Foundation received Silver for the second time in a row in the category of non-profit organisations award. This award for Akshaya Patra is recognition for the creative presentation of its Annual Report 2012-13.
The Summit International Awards (SIA) is an independent international contest organisation aiming at recognising the outstanding creative achievements across various professional fields. This award for Akshaya Patra is indeed an honour as it was one of the best entries from the total of 5000 submissions to the Summit International Awards, from across the world and across all categories.
Receiving Silver in the non-profit organisation category, this award becomes even more significant as the competition was adjudged by an international panel of judges from renowned global creative organisations like PMI 5 Media (United States of America), Contrapunto/BBDO (Russia), Interact (Australia), Marcelo Lopes design (Brazil), ADMAKI (Canada) and W &I Consultants (Sweden). This award for Akshaya Patra also highlights the effort of the Foundation in communicating its cause and spreading its message in a creative manner thereby connecting with a larger base of stakeholders.
