It is always pleasant to meet the topper of the class and here is one of them, R. Soujanya. R. Soujanya is a student of Standard VIII, and Maths is her favourite subject. She aspires to become a Maths teacher. This Akshaya Patra NGO beneficiary in Hyderabad comes from a humble family where both her parents are agricultural workers with a per day income of Rs.150-200.
Soujanya says that her teachers are very supportive and helps her with understanding the lessons. Her interest in Maths started during her early school years when she scored well in the subject which made her realise that she is good in the subject. She aims to be perfect in Maths leaving no room for errors in the subject of her choice which is a trait of a determined individual. This NGO beneficiary in Hyderabad says that Akshaya Patra mid-day meal is very nutritious and tasty and it helps her maintain concentration in class. Gladly she tells that her favourite items in the mid-day meal menu are fruits and biryani.
