During the visit she interacted with the children of Kudasan Primary School, engaged in their school enrolment process and also distributed uniforms, books with school bags to the beneficiary children. The HRD Minister also emphasised on importance of girl child’s education, women empowerment and their safety.

Smriti Irani, during her visit to this Gandhinagar NGO’s beneficiary school was also familiarised with the Quality Manual of the Akshaya Patra’s Gandhinagar kitchen along with a brief on the kitchen operations. Along with the beneficiaries, she had the mid-day meal provided by Akshaya Patra and appreciated the quality and quantity of food served to the children.
