Continuing the Salute to Teacher initiative, this year too, The Akshaya Patra Foundation organised a special event to commemorate the sincerity and dedication of the teachers. The event began on 6 September 2014 and is spread across four Saturdays of the month. The programme was held at different venues covering different locations in Bangalore.
Children from four schools have participated in various programmes like skit, dance and music. The support and encouragement received from the teachers towards The Akshaya Patra Foundation’s led to the success of the entire event. Durga Prasad, a participant said that through this event we want to appreciate and salute all our teachers for their continuous support.
This initiative was well received by everyone and it is encouraging for The Akshaya Patra Foundation to conduct this event every year. The non-profit organisation blog It’s Teacher’s Day all this Month will bring to you more details about the event.
